Submitting New Events

An individual or group putting on an event is responsible for submitting that event to the Calendar. All types of events are accepted, provided they are on-campus and open to all. Certain types of off-campus events are also accepted, such as trips.

To submit an event, click on the "Add an Event" link at the top of page. You will be presented with a form to be completed. Fill in this form according to the instructions on the page and click the "Submit" button. If there are no errors in your submission, the system will inform you that the event has been submitted. Otherwise, you will receive one or more error messages stating what you did wrong. You can then use the "back" button to return to the form, make the necessary changes, and resubmit it.

After you submit your event, it will be sent to a Calendar Administrator for approval. He or she will review it to make sure it conforms to the College Publicity Guidelines and then accept it into the calendar. This process generally takes less than a day, but may take longer on weekends or holidays.
